A Great Thursday Night
That’s what everyone said last night as the first evening of the 23rd Carnegie Arts & Heritage Festival drew to a close.
We had more visitors than anyone has seen on a Thursday night in years, sales were good for food and art vendors and the musicians had good crowds to listen.
And best of all THE WEATHER WAS GORGEOUS!!!
It’s supposed to be GORGEOUS all through the festival, pleasant sunny days and cool nights—bring a jacket for after dark.
We’re looking forward to a good day and night today! Tonight’s headliner is Bill Toms and Hard Rain at 10:30 p.m.
Saturday night is Jill West and the Blues Attack at 9:00 p.m. and Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers at 10:30 p.m.
Don’t forget, Saturday features the second annual Battle of the Bands! Last year’s winner, Jimbo and the Soupbones, plays at 9:00 p.m.
Festival hours are:
- Friday 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- Saturday noon to midnight
