The Festival Food Court

The annual Arts and Heritage/Music Festival will be held on September 9, 10 and 11 2010. This year, Festival activities will take place on East Main Street, between Washington Avenue and Elk Avenue. To accommodate stages, tents and booths in the affected area, it will be necessary to implement the following parking/traffic restrictions:

Effective Wednesday September 8th, 2010 at 7:00 AM, parking and traffic will be prohibited on East Main Street between Washington Avenue and Elk Avenue. All vehicles must be moved from the street before the designated date and time. Parking will also be prohibited in Borough Parking Lot #10 for the duration of the event. Violators will be tagged and towed at the owner’s expense. 

Additionally, both Mary Street and Broadway Street will be closed to through traffic during this time period for Festival activities. People needing access to the Elk Avenue/Williams Way Parking Lots can use West Main Street, cross the bridge and make a right onto Elk Avenue, or access Williams Way from Washington Avenue. 

The Carnegie Police Department appreciates your cooperation and understanding with these restrictions during the Festival. Normal parking and traffic patterns will resume on Monday September 13, 2010.
